Butterfly Project

"Man Proposes, God Disposes"
Who was helpless back in Prague.
And who was rich before,
He’s a poor soul here in Terezin,
His body’s bruised and sore.

Who was toughened up before,
He’ll survive these days.
But who was used to servants,
Will sink into his grave.

  1. This is a really good butterfly, and I liked the way you divided the butterfly in half to show fear and hope. I have the same poem, and something I can second is the way you explained the tone of the poem. I totally understand how the poem started off so depressing, but then as you kept reading you could notice that the writer was starting to have a bit more faith. On the right side, I noticed how you put dead bodies, trying to represent them in their grave. That was really smart, because then it relates back to when in the second stanza at the end it says, "Will sink into his grave." So I could see the connection there, which I think in my opinion was my favorite part of your butterfly. This was really well done I could see the connections clearly, nice job.

  2. Hi Enrique, I saw your butterfly and I was amazed with the detail and how it reflected on your poem. I saw how you divivded each wing into fear and hope, just like how the poem was. I saw dead body's, which in the poem, they talked about dead bodies.
